Manchester United set new valuation of Paul Pogba

Manchester United have slashed £30m off their asking price for Paul Pogba ahead of the summer, reports The Sun.

Pogba, who cost the club £80m in 2016, has been angling for a move away from United for the second time in his career over the last 12 months.

United refused to lower their £150m valuation of the France international last summer but are slowly coming round to the idea of selling the 2018 World Cup winner.

Pogba has barely featured for United this season after struggling to shake off an ankle injury and there have been suggestions he has already played his final game for the club.

The 26-year-old's reputation has diminished as a result of making just seven Premier League appearances this season and United have cut their asking price to £120m as a result.

United signed Bruno Fernandes from Sporting last month and his arrival is expected to accelerate Pogba's departure.

Juventus and Real Madrid remain the clear candidates to take Pogba away from United this summer.

Despite barely featuring this season, Pogba has still registered at least nine more assists than any other United player in the Premier League since August 2016 (25).
