Leicester City are planning to reward Danny Drinkwater with a new dumper deal at the end of the season, according to The Sunday Mirror.
Drinkwater, 26, has been in superb form in central midfield for the Foxes this season and his performances earned him his first senior England call up for recent friendlies against Germany and the Netherlands.
The former Manchester United midfielder only signed a four-year deal in 2014 but is in line to see his salary aligned with the likes of Jamie Vardy, who penned a new £80,000-a-week deal earlier this year.
No player has won possession more in the midfield third than Drinkwater this season in the Premier League (155).
