Juventus have announced Alex Sandro has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal running until 2023.
Sandro has been subject of intense speculation linking him with a big money move to the Premier League in the last 12 months.
Manchester United and Chelsea have pursued the 27-year-old at various points in that time but now the rampaging left-back has pledged his long-term future to Juventus.
Sandro has spent the last three years at Juventus and has developed into one of the best defenders in Serie A in that time.
The Brazilian would only have had 18 months left to run on his previous deal next month but Juventus have now secured his best remaining years.
Only Cristiano Ronaldo (7.82), Joao Cancelo (7.49) and Mario Mandzukic (7.38) have garnered a higher WhoScored rating in Serie A of all Juventus players than Sandro (7.28) this season.
Furthermore, of defenders that have made at least 15 Serie A appearances since the start of last season, only Aleksandar Kolarov (7.45) has a higher WhoScored rating than Sando (7.40).
