Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has lost patience with Daniel Sturridge and is looking to sell the striker at the end of the season, reports The Daily Mirror.
Sturridge, 27, has endured a turbulent time at Anfield since Klopp’s arrival and is no longer their first choice striker when fit with Roberto Firmino ahead of the former Chelsea man in the pecking order.
However, staying fit has often been the problem for Sturridge in recent years and Klopp has reportedly lost patience with the striker and does not think he can be counted on enough to warrant a space in his team.
The England international will not be short of suitors in the summer and Liverpool are hopeful of driving a high price for the forward to allow them to strengthen their offensive line with more players that fit Klopp’s philosophy.
Sturridge has only scored two goals in the Premier League this season, while he has only managed five starts in the league thus far.
