Chelsea will not sell Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Munich this month, reports German outlet BILD.
Bayern have had four bid rejected for Hudson-Odoi this month with the latest of those reportedly in the region of £35m.
Hudson-Odoi has entered the final 18 months of his existing Chelsea deal and is determined to secure a move to Bayern.
The 18-year-old reportedly even rejected an improved £75,000-a-week deal from Chelsea after growing disillusioned by a lack of playing time.
Hudson-Odoi handed in a transfer request over the weekend in a bid to push through a move but Chelsea have blocked his departure this month.
Chelsea will have no choice but to sell Hudson-Odoi in the summer if they cannot convince the teenager his future is at Stamford Bridge over the next four months.
Hudson-Odoi was surprisingly picked to start Chelsea’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday despite informing the club of his desire to leave.
The England Under-19 international scored and turned in an eye-catching performance against the Championship side, overshadowing Gonzalo Higuain’s debut.
Hudson-Odoi featured prominently for Chelsea in pre-season and was tipped for a breakthrough campaign, but the youngster has found it difficult to break into Maurizio Sarri’s first-team plans.
Hudson-Odoi hasn’t even started a Premier League match this season. He has been afforded greater playing time in the Europa League, where he has an impressive WhoScored rating of 7.65.
Furthermore, of players to have made at least three appearances in the Europa League this season, only Alen Halilovic (6.1) is completing more dribbles per 90 than Hudson-Odoi (5.8).
