Real Madrid have dismissed speculation linking them with a move for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.
Reports on Wednesday suggested Rafa Benitez had identified the burly striker as his primary target having succeeded Carlo Ancelotti at the Bernabeu helm last month.
However, Madrid have moved to pour cold water over stories that Llorente will follow Benitez from Italy to Spain, insisting that rumours of a possible deal are "completely untrue".
The 30-year-old frontman, who netted 7 league goals for Juventus last season, is tipped to leave Juventus this summer after the Serie A champions secured the signatures of Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, pushing Llorente further down the pecking order at the Juventus Stadium.
