West Ham will be without talismanic midfielder Dimitri Payet for the next three months through injury, according to Mail Sport.
Payet, 28, was forced off midway through West Ham’s draw with Everton following a heavy tackle from James McCarthy.
The France international’s performances so far this season had made him an early contender for PFA Player of the Year, but the former Marseille creator could now be sidelined until the early part of next year.
In fact, only Mesut Ozil (54) has created more chances across Europe’s top five leagues than Payet (47) this season.
