Watford have offered £7.5m for Newcastle right-back Daryl Janmaat, according to The Daily Mail.
Newcastle are on the verge of signing Tottenham right-back DeAndre Yedlin, which would pave the way for Janmaat to return to the Premier League.
Janmaat has proven to be thoroughly impressive going forward, but he has often been found wanting in his defensive duties.
The Netherlands international registered more assists than any other Newcastle player in their last two Premier League campaigns before they were relegated last summer (10).
