Milan ready to beat Juventus to Serie A star

AC Milan are weighing up a €30m (£22.8m) summer bid for Palermo ace and Juventus target Franco Vazquez, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Vazquez, 26, is widely expected to leave Palermo at the end of the season, with Juventus and Napoli among those reportedly interested in signing him.

The Argentina international formed an incredible partnership with Paulo Dybala last season, who is now firing Juventus back to the top of Serie A.

Vazquez is expected to make the switch and join Dybala at Juventus at the end of the season but they could now face serious competition from Milan, according to reports.

The creative midfielder finished last season as the highest rated player in Serie A, according to WhoScored.com (7.74), and he is still managing to perform to a high standard this time around despite playing without Dybala (7.54).
