Tottenham are the frontrunners to land Queens Park Rangers winger Eberechi Eze in a deal worth £20m, claims The Sun.
Eze has been a revelation for QPR this season and is starting to attract interest from Premier League clubs.
The 21-year-old has already been linked with moves to Crystal Palace and Sheffield United but now Tottenham are interested.
Tottenham scout Brian Carey has already scouted Eze this season, most recently in QPR's 3-1 win away to Preston earlier this month.
Tottenham have endured a tough season after replacing Mauricio Pochettino with Jose Mourinho in November and sweeping changes are expected to the squad.
QPR slapped a £20m valuation on Eze's head to ward off interest from Palace and Sheffield United but it's unlikely to quash Tottenham's pursuit.
Eze has played a direct hand in 20 goals in 37 Championship appearances for the Super Hoops this season and is the top WhoScored rated player in England's second-tier (7.45).
Moreover, Eze, who is capable of playing right the way across midfield, has won the most WhoScored Man of the Match awards in the division (9) this term.
A return of three dribbles per game also ranks third in the Championship of all players.
