Lazio have been served a blow with news Felipe Anderson may not be fit to play until the middle of October, claims LaLazioSiamoNoi, via Football Italia.
Anderson missed the start of the season with an adductor problem and the issue isn’t expected to be resolved any time soon.
Lazio’s medical team are monitoring Anderson on a day-by-day basis and while the Serie A giants are happy with his progress, they do not expect him back until after the next international break.
Simone Inzaghi’s side have pencilled Anderson in to return to first-team action against Juventus on October 14, meaning the Brazil international will miss Lazio’s next seven matches.
Since the start of last season, Anderson has completed more dribbles than any other Serie A player (117).
