Bayern Munich put £50m price tag on Chelsea target

Bayern Munich will look to sell Arturo Vidal in a deal worth £50m at the end of the season, reports Kicker, via The Daily Mail.

Antonio Conte is not happy with his midfield options despite signing Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater over the summer, having failed to prise Radja Nainggolan away from Roma in the summer.

The defending Premier League champions have reportedly identified Vidal as an alternative for Nainggolan and Bayern are willing to offload the combative Chilean if their £50m valuation is met.

Unlike Chelsea, Bayern have an obscene number of options in midfield and can afford to lose one at the end of the summer, with Vidal the most likely to depart.

The former Chile international’s current deal is due to expire in 2019 and Bayern want to offload the 30-year-old as his value will only continue to decrease.

Vidal was a vital part of Conte’s Juventus midfield and now the Italian is understood to be keen on the idea of reuniting with the Bayern man.

Only three player (5+ starts) have secured a higher Bundesliga rating than Vidal this season (7.52).
