Paris Saint-Germain youngster among top performers in Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to 17 points after capitalising on Lille’s draw with Strasbourg to beat Nimes 3-0. Lyon also slipped up and are now in danger of falling out of the top four after a 2-0 defeat to Monaco.

Only one side from the bottom seven in Ligue 1 actually lost this weekend and here we round up the top five WhoScored rated performers from gameweek 26.

5. Juan Bernat (Paris Saint-Germain) – 8.49 rating

Juan Bernat occupied a spot in Paris Saint-Germain’s back three in their 3-0 win over Nimes but still managed to provide an assist. The Spaniard set up Kylian Mbappe’s firs goal of the game, while also helping PSG keep a clean sheet with five tackles and two clearances. The 25-year-old completed three dribbles and completed 89.5% of his passes.

4. Arber Zeneli (Reims) – 8.55 rating

Reims have the longest current unbeaten streak in Ligue 1 after stretching their run to 10 matches without defeat at the weekend.  On his full league debut for the club, Arber Zeneli played a direct hand in two of the four goals Reims scored in a 4-2 win over Montpellier. He registered four key passes, completed four dribbles and had three shots, while also chipping in with four tackles.

3. Neven Subotic (Saint-Etienne) – 8.55 rating
