Nathan Patterson

Everton full-back Nathan Patterson looks set to remain sidelined until at least the end of September with a thigh injury.

Patterson’s issue was described as a ‘serious hamstring injury’ by Sean Dyche during pre-season, and, as such, the Toffees won’t be rushing him back.

Youssef Chermiti

Young striker Youssef Chermiti has undergone a minor operation on his ankle, after suffering an injury during pre-season.

It is hoped that the 20-year-old can make his return to action by the end of the month.

Jarrad Branthwaite

Highly-coveted Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is yet to play a minute for the club this season after struggling with a groin issue throughout pre-season.

Like team-mate Chermiti, the England international is returning from a minor operation, with it hoped that he can make a full return in the coming weeks.

Armando Broja

Deadline day loan signing Armando Broja is not expected to make his Everton debut until at least October, with the 23-year-old currently sidelined with an ankle injury.

Concerns over Broja’s injury history are said to have complicated a proposed move to Ipswich Town over the summer, and Everton will be hoping the Albania international can reach full fitness sooner rather than later.

Seamus Coleman

Everton and Ireland captain Seamus Coleman picked up a knock during his nation’s defeat to England last weekend, and was forced to withdraw from the squad and return to his club for assessment.

The 35-year-old was caught by Harry Maguire after a corner, and it now remains to be seen if he will be fit to play a part against Aston Villa on Saturday.
