Fanteam Fantasy Football: Festival of goals as Liverpool face Norwich

With Storm Dennis on the way, let's hope the Premeir League fixture list isn't disrupted like last weekend. Manchester City's contest with West Ham was postponed, which caused havoc to fantasy football players across the country. Fingers-crossed the the same doesn't happen this time around.

Despite the fact there are only six Premier League games scheduled this weekend, as the mini winter-break comes to an end in England, it's still all steam ahead on Fanteam Fantasy Football. They are running the 'Weekend Big Five 20K' contest with a prize pool of €20K at an entry price of just €20. As always, we are on hand to help you with your selections by revealing our own ahead of this weekend.

Chris Wood (Burnley) vs Southampton - 6.6M

Burnley have racked up two wins and a draw from their last three Premier League matches despite playing Leicester, Manchester United and Arsenal in that time. They have impressively conceded just one goal in that time and will be confident even against a resurgent Southampton side. Chris Wood has been particularly key during that period, particularly with Ashley Barnes sidelined. Wood has scored in two of those three games and has now reached 10 league goals for the third successive league campaign for the Clarets.

Jordan Henderson (Liverpool) vs Norwich - 9.5M

There have been calls for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson to be crowned the PFA Player of the Year for leading the Reds to their first league title in 30 years. Even if those shouts are misguided, Henderson is in the best form of his career at the moment, particularly as an attacking force. He has scored and assisted in two of Liverpool's last three league matches. In fact, 57% of his goal contributions for the league campaign have come in that period. Furthermore, Henderson scored the last time Liverpool travelled to Carrow Road.
