Tottenham vs Chelsea: Alli and Jorginho feature in 14/1 'Request a Bet'

Old rivalries are reignited this Sunday as Chelsea make the trip to Tottenham, though much of the focus pre-match has surrounded the head-to-head on the touchline rather than those on the pitch.

This is ninth time that the Blues have faced their former boss Jose Mourinho since he first left the club but the first under Frank Lampard, who built much of his legendary status at Stamford Bridge during the Portuguese's reign.

That narrative will certainly add extra intrigue to an encounter that means a great deal to both set of fans irregardless, and so too should our latest exclusive 'Request A Bet' market ahead of the capital city clash. With four selections priced up at 14/1, it's not just the teams that could win big this weekend.

Tip 1: Tottenham to win

There's no doubt that the hosts approach Sunday's clash in greater form and spirits than their visitors having closed the gap to Frank Lampard's men to just three points. Indeed, Tottenham would jump into the top four at Chelsea's expense with a win having been ten places and 11 points adrift when Mourinho took the reins last month.

That's as much down to Chelsea's struggles as Spurs' surge of course, with the Blues suffering four defeats in their last five league matches. Tottenham, meanwhile, have won all three of their home matches under their new coach, whose record at home against former employers is remarkable. Mourinho has faced his old clubs 13 times in home matches, winning 12 and losing none.

Tip 2: Over 2.5 goals

Mourinho's reputation as a defensive manager doesn't appear to have followed him to Tottenham at present, though no doubt the for Chelsea boss would prefer his side to be far more resolute defensively. He's overseen just one clean sheet in seven matches, with both teams scoring in the other six and over 2.5 goals scored in every match of his short reign thus far.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are yet to keep a clean sheet away from home in eight Premier League matches, with all eight seeing over 2.5 goals at an average of 4.6 per game.

Tip 3: Dele Alli to score

While Mourinho's arrival has encouraged an upturn in performances from a number of Tottenham players there's no question that Alli has seemed the most rejuvenated. The England international has had a direct hand in seven goals in six matches since the Portuguese took charge, scoring four himself, and enjoys playing against this weekend's visitors.

In fact, against no other club has Alli scored more goals in his career than Chelsea, with six in total, while his leaguen record against the Blues reads five goals from five appearances.

Tip 4: Jorginho to be carded

Finishing our selections this week, we're back Jorginho to continue a common trend of his season so far. The Italian has already served a suspension for an accumulation of bookings, collecting in six in total in the league thus far - only two players have received more. Moreover, five of said six yellow cards have come away from home - no player has picked up more on their travels - and the midfielder was booked in two of four meetings between these sides in league and cup last season.
