The gulf in quality between the two current representatives of English football's most storied clubs may be huge but Liverpool vs Manchester United will always be one of the biggest fixtures in European football.

It's a match that can do strange things to even the most in-form players, with Liverpool finidng it difficult to overcome their fierce rivals since tipping the balance of power between the two.

Jurgen Klopp's side needed an 85h minute Adam Lallana equaliser to take a point from Old Trafford in what remains the only league match they have failed to win all season. So what chance of a repeat performance from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side?

We've focused this week's exclusive 'Request A Bet' offer on Sunday's clash at Anfield, building odds of 20/1 that Sky Bet boosted to 25/1!

Liverpool vs Manchester United - Stats support boosted 25/1 bet

TIP 1: Mohamed Salah to score

One of those aforementioned players that has, in the past, seem to be affected by the occasion of such a big game, Salah has never scored in four meetings with Manchester United. However, the Egyptian has enjoyed home comforts this season, that's for sure, with nine of his ten league goals coming at Anfield.

Ironically only Marcus Rashford has scored more home goals in the Premier League, with the United striker's fitness the main talking point ahead of kick-off. Whether or not he makes it, the England international can't rely on the support of the home crowd (an understatement) like Salah this Sunday.

TIP 2: Brandon Williams to be carded

Williams emergence this season has seemingly paved the way for Ashley Young to move to Inter, with the teenager unquestionably United's first choice left-back at present. The academy graduate has won over the fans immediately, not least due to the passion that he has shown on the pitch, spilling over into ill-discipline on more than one occasion.

He'll be desperate to impress in his first ever appearance in this rivalry, and keen to leave his mark on the match, as well as opposite man Mo Salah. The youngster has been booked in four of his five league starts this season and we're backing that to become five from six this weekend.

TIP 3: Aaron Wan-Bissaka 4+ tackles

On the opposite flank to Williams, Wan-Bissaka has been considerably less rash in the challenge but equally willing to stick his foot in. The former Palace youngster gained a reputation for his tackling at Selhurst Park and that has only grown since a big money move to United.

He ranks third in the league for tackles per 90 per game (4.1), rising to first (5 per game) when only taking away matches into account. He'll have a busy afternoon up against Sadio Mane, that's for sure, so should make four or more tackles for the ninth time this season.

TIP 4: Anthony Martial 1+ shot on target

Having already proven to pose a real threat on the counter attack this season, the onus could be on Martial to carry said threat if Marcus Rashford is not fit to feature. The Frenchman should lead the line regardless having failed to start any of the last four league meetings between the sides and will be keen to make up for lost time.

Of the 30 players to have attempted 40+ shots in the Premier League this season only Jamie Vardy boasts a better shot accuracy than Martial (52.5%). Meanwhile, he ranks fourth in the entire league for shots on target per game away from home (1.6) having only failed to test the keeper in one of eight league appearances on the road this season.
