What's great about the 'Rookie Freeroll' contest, Fanteam Fantasy Football are even giving users a bigger budget to work with. If you have entered the free-to-play contest, but are wondering who to pick in your XI, we are here to help. Here are some of our selections ahead of this weekend's contest.

Jamie Vardy (Leicester)

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp joked in midweek Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers will be relishing the chance to unleash Jamie Vardy on his defence after the Reds shipped three goals to Salzburg. Rodgers wouldn't have needed any more encouragement after watching Vardy score a brace last weekend, coupled with the veteran's exceptional record against the top-six clubs.

Against only Arsenal (eight) has Vardy scored more goals than Liverpool (seven) in his career, while the 32-year-old has also scored five times against each Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United. It's a truly remarkable record. Vardy even scored in five straight league games against Liverpool prior to last season. Leicester are in form heading into Saturday's clash with Liverpool and Vardy is primed to give Liverpool a tough afternoon.

Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

It may seem strange to tip a Liverpool player directly after raving about someone on their opponents' side but that wasn't to suggest Leicester would inflict Klopp's side with their first defeat of the league campaign. This should simply be a thoroughly entertaining match.

Sadio Mane has been in sublime goalscoring form for Liverpool this season, with five goals in eight league and European starts. The Senegal international also netted home and away against Leicester last season.

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)

Raheem Sterling was required from the bench to help Manchester City overcome Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night, with a goal and assist and the WhoScored Man of the Match award.

The 24-year-old has won the star man award in two of his last three appearances for City and has played a direct hand in 10 goals in his last seven appearances for club and country. There is no doubt Sterling will return to the starting XI when City take on Wolves this weekend, as Pep Guardiola's side look to keep pace with league leaders Liverpool.
