Yahoo! Fantasy Football: Bournemouth dominate best XI after Chelsea triumph

GOALKEEPER - ASMIR BEGOVIC 

Without a doubt the surprise of the week, Bournemouth’s 3-0 win at Chelsea certainly raised eyebrows as the Cherries tore into the defending champions. Former Blues shotstopper Asmir Begovic makes this XI having gained 17.50 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points, that made possible by his five saves at Stamford Bridge. 

DEFENDER - JACK STEPHENS 

We’ll come back to Bournemouth shortly, but first to their south coast rivals Southampton, who laboured to a 1-1 draw with Brighton on Wednesday night. MIDFIELDER - JUNIOR STANISLAS

Mark Noble netted West Ham’s equaliser against the Eagles, while one tackle, one key pass and three successful dribbles saw him earn 15.85 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points. 

MIDFIELDER - SAM CLUCAS 

Sam Clucas has had three shots on target in the Premier League this season. Those three shots on target came against Arsenal and each time resulted in a goal for the midfielder. Clucas earned the WhoScored man of the match award with a brace in Swansea’s 3-1 win over the Gunners with a further three interceptions to go with his two goals helping gain 24.20 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points. 

UTILITY - KEVIN DE BRUYNE 

Like Clucas, Kevin De Bruyne also earned the man of the match award as Manchester City eased to a 3-0 win over West Brom on Wednesday night. The Belgian scored one and assisted another at the Etihad Stadium in midweek to take his totals for the season to seven goals and 11 assists, with one key pass and one successful dribble earning De Bruyne 26.95 points with Yahoo! Fantasy Football. 

STRIKER - THEO WALCOTT 

Pipping De Bruyne to top spot as the best performing player, helping himself to 33.50 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points, is Everton man Theo Walcott. The attacker has been in fine form since his move to Goodison Park, with two goals from five shots, one key pass and one successful dribble in a 2-1 win over Leicester also ensuring the 28-year-old ended gameweek 25 as the best rated player, with a WhoScored rating of 9.22. 

STRIKER - CALLUM WILSON 

Rounding off the Bournemouth contingent and the best performing XI is Cherries striker Callum Wilson, who gained 17.50 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points. The 25-year-old chipped in with one goal, one assist, three key passes, one successful dribble and won possession in the attacking third six times against Chelsea to, like Walcott, gain a place in the WhoScored Premier League team of the week.
