How they qualified

Sevilla rode their luck against Manchester United in the semi-finals, coming from behind to beat the Premier League outfit 2-1. Sevilla survived a barage of shots, helped by an inspired goalkeeping display from Yassine Bono, before taking full advantage of some poor United defending to progress to Friday's final. The Spanish side are the most successful side in UEFA Cup/Europa League history, reaching the final on six occasions and winning the competition five times.

Inter made light work of Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk in their semi-final, running out 5-0 winners. While Antonio Conte's side ended up romping home to victory, they didn't dominate as the scoreline suggests. Inter were only 1-0 up at the hour-mark and finished the match with 37.2% possession. This is Inter's 10th European final and first since 2010. The Serie A outfit are only the ninth team overall to reach double figures for European finals.

Team News

Sevilla are boosted by the availability of midfielder Nemanja Gudelj, who came off the bench against Manchester United after overcoming coronavirus. Luuk de Jong is also pushing for a start after scoring the winning goal in Sevilla's semi-final win on Sunday, with Youssef En-Nesyri's place up front in doubt. This is Ever Banega's last game for Sevilla before he joins Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab. It comes against former club Inter.

Antonio Conte has a settled XI and no changes are expected from Monday's 5-0 thumping of Shakhtar. Alexis Sanchez was fit enough for a place on the bench but wasn't risked following a recent muscle injury. The likes of Christian Eriksen and Milan Skriniar will have to settle for places on the bench on Friday night. Romelu Lukaku has remarkably scored in each of his last 10 Europa League matches, a record run that stretches back to November 2014 with Everton.
