Saka and Odegaard lead Arsenal quintet in Premier League Form Rankings

 

Arsenal have been in absolutely rampant form in recent weeks and are rewarded with five players in the WhoScored Premier League form rankings. Stars from Aston Villa, Liverpool and Manchester City also make the cut. 

 

10. Gabriel Martinelli - Arsenal 

 

The first of five Arsenal players in the WhoScored form rankings, Gabriel Martinelli has been much-improved since the winter break with two of his six goals and two of his four assists coming in his last six league appearances. As such, the Brazilian has returned a form rating of 7.61 to feature. 

 

9. Leon Bailey - Aston Villa 

 

Two Aston Villa players make the top 10, Leon Bailey has been a revelation in recent weeks for Unai Emery's side. The winger has been directly involved in five goals in his last six outings, with the Jamaican forging quite the partnership with Ollie Watkins. 

 

8. Alexis Mac Allister - Liverpool 

 

Alexis Mac Allister has been excellent for Liverpool in recent weeks having scored one and provided three assists in his last three outings. The Argentine is gearing up for the welcome of Manchester City in fine form. 

 

7. Rodri - Manchester City 

 

Just as Mac Allister has been shining for Liverpool, so too has Manchester City star Rodri. The Spaniard continues to prove he's one of the best in the business as City's tempo-setter having made in excess of 100 passes in three of his last six appearances, while two appearances and one goal has helped Rodri to a WhoScored form rating of 7.77. 

 

6. Phil Foden - Manchester City 

 

Since the start of February, Phil Foden has scored six league goals, which includes a hat-trick in Manchester City's 3-1 win at Brentford last month. Two of Foden's best rated performances have come in his last six appearances, with the City star more than deserving of a WhoScored form rating of 8.06. 

 

5. Declan Rice - Arsenal 

 

Arsenal dominate the top five with Declan Rice the first of four Gunners stars to feature here. Rice has been directly involved in 10 league goals this season, four of which have come in his last six outings. Three of his four best rated performances in a Premier League match this season have come in his last four appearances to help the midfielder to a form rating of 8.09. 

 

4. Kai Havertz - Arsenal 

 

Another summer arrival thriving in an Arsenal shirt, Kai Havertz looks to have finally settled into a role for the Gunners. Havertz has been directly involved in a goal in each of his last three league appearances, netting three times and providing two assists. The German's four best rated outings have come in his last four showings.

Breaking the Arsenal dominance in the top five, Ollie Watkins has been superb in recent weeks for Aston Villa. Watkins has been directly involved in more goals (26) than any other player in England's top tier this term, with seven goals and two assists coming in his last six outings. 

 

2. Martin Odegaard - Arsenal 

 

Like a number of his teammates, Martin Odegaard looks back to his best in an Arsenal shirt following their winter break. The Gunners skipper has three assists and two goals to his name across his last six outings, while his three best rated performances of the Premier League campaign have coming in three of his last four outings.

With a WhoScored rating of 8.35, Bukayo Saka is the Premier League's form player. The Arsenal winger has been in absolutely imperious for Mikel Arteta's side in recent weeks having been directly involved in a goal in each of his last eight outings. Saka continues to prove just why he is the best rated player in the Premier League this season.
