Nathan Patterson (Everton) - 7.92

Everton fought back to earn a 2-2 draw at Sheffield United on Saturday, with Nathan Patterson key for the Toffees. Indeed, it was Patterson's assist for Arnaut Danjuma that ensured Everton returned to Merseyside with a positive result, that coming from one of two key passes. The Scot's only tackle happened to be a last man one, while his only clearance was one off the line, and that helped land a WhoScored rating of 7.92.

James Maddison (Tottenham) - 8.89

The second Tottenham player in the side, James Maddison returned a WhoScored rating of 8.89 in their 5-2 win at Burnley. Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) - 8.60

Joining Maddison in the middle of the park is Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. The England international was linked with summer switches to Tottenham and Manchester City, and he showed why on Sunday as he bagged his first league goal of the season against Wolves. That goal came from one of three shots, while four key passes and three dribbles saw Eze yield a WhoScored rating of 8.60.

Manor Solomon (Tottenham) - 8.96

Rounding off the midfield is Manor Solomon, who garnered a WhoScored rating of 8.96 in Tottenham's win at Burnley. The summer signing provided two assists at Turf Moor, both for Son Heung-Min, to cap a fine first league start for the north London side. The pair of assists came from five key passes in total to go with three dribbles and two tackles to mark a superb outing from the 24-year-old.

Evan Ferguson (Brighton) - 9.96

With a WhoScored rating of 9.96, Evan Ferguson is the Premier League player of the week. The Brighton star put the Newcastle backline to the sword on Saturday evening, netting a hat-trick from four shots. Erling Haaland (Manchester City) - 9.58

Fergsuon wasn't the only player to bag a hat-trick at the weekend, as Erling Haaland scored goals four, five and six for the season in Manchester City's 5-1 win over Fulham. The Norwegian also provided the assist for Julian Alvarez's opener with 30 minutes on the clock, those coming from respective returns of four shots and two key passes, to land a WhoScored rating of 9.58.

Son Heung-Min (Tottenham) - 9.61

The fourth Tottenham and third hat-trick scorer completes the XI as Son Heung-Min joins Ferguson and Haaland on the frontline. After a disappointing season, and a sub-par start to the campaign, Son spearheaded the Spurs offensive in their 5-2 win at Burnley in place of Richarlison. The South Korean was on fire at Turf Moor, hitting the back of the net with three of five shots.
