Brits Abroad: Bellingham comes in clutch while Kane adds to goal haul

Jude Bellingham scored yet another late winner against Barcelona as Real Madrid secured the spoils and the bragging rights in El Clasico on Sunday. Harry Kane and Eric Dier also impressed as Bayern smashed Union Berlin but there was disappointment for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori, who were both on the losing side in the Milan Derby, a result that confirmed rivals Inter as champions as Brits Abroad takes a look at the British players plying their trade around the world.

Jude Bellingham - Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham came in clutch for Real Madrid once more, netting a 91st minute winner as Los Blancos claimed a 3-2 win over rivals Barcelona. Kieran Tierney - Real Sociedad

Kieran Tierney came on late in Real Sociedad's 1-1 draw at Getafe, earning a WhoScored rating of 6.10 in the process.

Tammy Abraham - Roma

Tammy Abraham made his first league start of the season in Roma's eventual 3-1 loss to Bologna and struggled prior to his withdrawal early in the second half. The 26-year-old failed to have a shot and registered three unsuccessful touches resulting in a turnover in possession with a lack of match fitness hindering the England international.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek - AC Milan

AC Milan fell to a 2-1 defeat to rivals Inter on Monday night, a result that confirmed the Nerazzurri as champions. Ruben Loftus-Cheek struggled to impose himself on the game before coming off midway through the second half, returning a WhoScored rating of just 6.35 in the process.

Fikayo Tomori - AC Milan

While Fikayo Tomori failed to prevent Inter racing into a two-goal lead, the AC Milan centre-back set up a nervy finish at San Siro having scored in the 80th minute. Tomori also made three clearances, two interceptions and two tackles on his way to a WhoScored rating of 7.03.

Djed Spence - Genoa

Djed Spence played the full 90 in Genoa's eventual 1-0 loss to Lazio on Monday night. The on-loan defender did all he could to protect his side's goal in the home defeat as he made four clearances, one interception and one tackle.

Josh Doig - Sassuolo

Having seemingly corrected their form somewhat, Sassuolo fell to a 3-0 home defeat to Lecce to leave them two points off safety. Josh Doig came on at the break in the eventual loss and did all he could to help his side, completing one dribble and making one key pass.

Harry Kane - Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich made light work of Union Berlin on Saturday evening with Harry Kane directly involved in two of five goals in a 5-1 victory. Kane's 33rd league goal of the season came from one of three shots, while the England captain provided one assist from three key passes.

Eric Dier - Bayern Munich

Eric Dier was solid at the back for Bayern as he made five clearances to keep the Union Berlin frontline at bay. Dier also found a teammate with 94.1% of his 85 attempted passes to return a WhoScored rating of 6.60.

Jadon Sancho - Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund were within seconds of ending Bayer Leverkusen's unbeaten season on Sunday but the champions scored yet another late goal to prolong their fine campaign. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens - Borussia Dortmund

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens was kept quiet in Borussia Dortmund's 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen prior to his second half withdrawal as he earned a WhoScored rating of just 6.11.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles - Lyon

Lyon were hammered by champions-elect PSG on Sunday night, though Ainsley Maitland-Niles still put in a solid shift from right-back. The 26-year-old provided the assist for Ernest Nuamah's first half consolation strike, that coming from one of four key passes, as Maitland-Niles earned a WhoScored rating of 6.41.

Marcus Edwards - Sporting CP

Marcus Edwards came on in the 78th minute of Sporting's 3-0 win over Vitoria de Guimaraes and while he had little time to impact the result; he still completed one dribble and made one tackle.

Matty Longstaff - Toronto FC

After a disappointing couple of weeks, Matty Longstaff put in a much-improved display as Toronto FC claimed a 1-0 win over New England Revs. Longstaff was unfortunate not to register an assist having made three key passes, while an additional two tackles saw the 24-year-old land a WhoScored rating of 6.78.

Ryan Gauld - Vancouver Whitecaps

Ryan Gauld put in a player of the match performance as Vancouver Whitecaps claimed a 2-0 win at Seattle Sounders. Gauld netted with his only shot, while he also made one tackle, one interception and one key pass to return a WhoScored rating of 7.73.

Matt Crooks - Real Salt Lake

While Matt Crooks was unable to directly contribute to a goal in Real Salt Lake's 4-0 win at Chicago Fire, it wasn't for want of trying as the 30-year-old managed two key passes. Crooks defended well from the front, too, as he made four tackles and one interception at Soldier Field.

Lewis Morgan - NYRB

Lewis Morgan impressed in NYRB's 2-2 draw at LAFC over the weekend despite failing to contribute to a goal in the stalemate. The 27-year-old managed two shots and two key passes, while he also won four aerial duels and completed three dribbles to return a WhoScored rating of 7.62.
