After running through the five biggest risers in the market on Tuesday, here we pick our five players to buy shares in to help you make money

ANDREA BELOTTI – TORINO (BUY)

Having been heavily linked with a move away from Torino last summer, Andrea Belotti’s form failed to match expectations as he struggled to rediscover the goalscoring touch that rendered him one of the most sought after striking talents on the continent. Having been blighted by injury, though, the Italy international looks to be getting back to his best.

Indeed, Belotti has had a direct hand in 11 goals in Serie A this season. Six of those have come in his last three appearances and his good form has attracted the interest of Football INDEX users. His buy price has increased 4.67% over the last seven days and that should rise further between now and the summer as rumours of a future away from Turin circulates. At £1.47 per share, now is the time to jump on the Belotti hype train as he looks to maintain his flying form that saw him earn a spot in the WhoScored.com Serie A team of the week.

FABINHO – MONACO (BUY)

Another linked with a summer switch is Monaco man Fabinho. The Brazilian was a rumoured target for Manchester United and Manchester City last summer, but he failed to negotiate a move away from the French side. He’s not expected to face the same obstacle this year, however, while his buy price currently sits at £1.42 per share.

Over the last seven days, that’s risen a whopping 14.49% on Football INDEX with users looking to capitalise on reports that he fancies a move to Manchester United. With his name donning the gossip columns, be sure to add Fabinho to your portfolio with United expected to revive their interest in the Monaco man once the transfer window opens as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his midfield.

MARKO ARNAUTOVIC – WEST HAM (BUY)

The West Ham man bagged a vital brace against Southampton last week to all but guarantee the Hammers’ survival. Now five points above the relegation zone, Marko Arnautovic will hope to end the campaign on a high and break the Premier League double figures barrier for the second time in his career.

He bagged the decisive goal when West Ham defeated Chelsea earlier in the campaign and he’ll hope to do the same when the Hammers make the short trip across the capital to face the Blues on Sunday before they welcome Stoke next week. The Austrian’s buy price took a dip over recent weeks, but now up 9.01% over the last seven days on Football INDEX, it’s best to capitalise sooner rather than later.

MATTHIJS DE LIGT – AJAX (BUY)

Admittedly we’re looking ahead to the transfer window here, but Matthijs De Ligt’s buy price continues to increase and it’s vital to exploit that before it’s too late. The teenage Dutchman has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham this week, while La Liga giants Barcelona are also interested in the centre-back and for good reason.

He’s made more accurate passes (1585) than any other player aged 21 and under in the Eredivisie this season and rumours of interest from Europe’s elite teams has seen his buy price rise from as low as £0.90 to £1.27 on Football INDEX recently. He’d be a long-term addition to your portfolio, but one that could reap huge rewards if any team firms up their interest in the youngster.

TOM CAIRNEY – FULHAM (BUY)

Widely considered one of the best in his position in the Championship, Tom Cairney isn’t short of Premier League suitors. The Fulham star has been courted by a number of top-flight teams in recent months and that should translate to another steep increase as the transfer window edges closer to opening.

If the Cottagers are to secure a Premier League spot this season, Cairney is a key man. Should they miss out again, however, the vultures are expected to circle and it would be wise to add the 27-year-old to your portfolio, particular as he boasts a buy price of just £0.84 per share on Football INDEX at the time of writing.
