Arsenal prepare midfielder package, Liverpool enter Olise race: Thursday's top transfer rumours

Arsenal are preparing their move for a key Newcastle man, while Chelsea and Manchester United face competition in the race to sign Michael Olise. Here, we take a look at today's top transfer rumours.

Arsenal prepare package for Newcastle star

Arsenal are preparing a player-push-cash offer for Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, reports FootballTransfers.

Newcastle's financial issues means they may look to sell Guimaraes to ensure they do not get stung by the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules.

The Brazilian has a £100m release clause but the Gunners may look to offer a players-push-cash deal for Guimaraes having seemingly missed out on Martin Zubimendi.

Arsenal aren't the only side linked with a move for the midfielder, with Manchester City also monitoring the 26-year-old.

Liverpool enter race for Chelsea and Man Utd target

Liverpool are ready to rival Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, reports FootballTransfers.

The Frenchman is a man in demand this summer with a Premier League move expected.

Chelsea are believed to be frontrunners to land Olise but the lure of Champions League football may be enough to convince the 22-year-old to reject a move across London in favour of a switch to Anfield.

Arsenal and Liverpool target keen on Barcelona move

Athetic Club winger Nico Williams is holding out for a summer move to Barcelona, despite Premier League interest, according to HITC.

Williams has a lengthy list of admirers following a superb campaign for the Spanish side, helping them to Copa Del Rey glory.

And yet despite the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool holding an interest in Williams, the 21-year-old is believed to be keen on a move to Barcelona.

Chelsea working on deals for young forward

Chelsea are working on deals to sign Jhon Duran and Samu Omorodion from Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid, respectively, but will only sign one, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues are eager to bring in a young striker this summer with the duo emerging as top targets for the west London side.

However, Atletico have rebuffed Chelsea's initial €40m offer for Omorodion, while Villa will only consider a deal for Duran if players are included in the transfer.

Man Utd stepping up search for a new striker

Manchester United are stepping up their search for a new striker this summer, with Jonathan David high on their shortlist, reports inews.

David, who is with the Canada national team for the 2024 Copa America, scored 19 times in Ligue 1 last season.

Lille are seemingly resigned to lose the 24-year-old in the off-season with Old Trafford a rumoured destination for the striker.
