Five facts: Key numbers to know ahead of Arsenal vs Liverpool

After north London heartbreak at Tottenham on Sunday, Arsenal will hope to turn their fortunes around when they welcome Liverpool to the Emirates tonight. The Gunners remain in the hunt for a European finish, but with one eye on their FA Cup semi-final clash against Manchester City this weekend, Mikel Arteta's focus may be elsewhere. 

That said, with the Premier League sewn up, Liverpool can play without the added pressure of needing to win to boost their title hopes in the capital. Arsenal to up their game against Liverpool again? 

While Liverpool can be expected to score, Arsenal have a good home record against the Reds. Indeed, the north London side have lost only 2 of the last 23 meetings between the pair at the Emirates. What's more, Liverpool have won only one of their last six away matches, while Arsenal have tasted defeat just once in the last nine on home turf. The FA Cup semi-final is looming, but the Gunners have home advantage to maintain their solid Emirates form against the Merseysiders. 

Liverpool to fall behind early on? 

Liverpool may have scored the second most goals (76) and conceded the fewest (27) in the Premier League this season, but on the road; the Reds have been slow starters. Jurgen Klopp's side take a while to get going on their travels and have actually conceded more away goals in the opening 30 minutes of matches this season (5) than they have scored (4). Arsenal have scored 10 times in the opening half hour of home league matches this term, and conceded just three, so the Gunners may give supporters early hope and go ahead tonight.
