United, Bayern and Madrid featured in the top tips this weekend

There is plenty of managerial interest in the Premier League this weekend as Jose Mourinho faces off against Claudio Ranieri, while Arsene Wenger will meet Antonio Conte for the first time. There is also a spicy backstory in Italy, where Vincenzo Montella takes his Milan side back to where he made his name, before leaving on sour terms.

Arsenal vs Chelsea – Over 2.5 Goals @1.75

Antonio Conte at the Emirates is something that promises some entertainment. The defensive naivety of Arsenal is something the Blues could look to exploit, but Chelsea themselves are struggling to absorb the tactical demands of their new coach at the back. With Kurt Zouma and John Terry still sidelined, Conte has no choice but to persist with Gary Cahill and David Luiz, despite their struggles against Liverpool in the league last Friday. Chelsea haven’t conceded a goal in any of their last eight competitive matches against Arsenal but this will be a real test of their resolve at the back. If either team fails to execute their strategy it could prove a profitable evening for Diego Costa or Alexis Sanchez. Manchester United vs Leicester – Draw first half – Manchester United second half @4.33

Ranieri already got his revenge on Mourinho last season and now has new problems to deal with. The same is true for Mourinho, who now has way bigger problems than dueling on his old rivalry with Ranieri. Their League Cup win over Northampton in midweek stopped their three-match losing streak but will certainly not cure all their problems The worst thing is that United don’t look to be clicking anywhere on the pitch. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, aside, Mourinho seems a pale version of the colorful warrior that would give any drop of blood away before letting go of a match.

Leicester appear to have aligned their focus on the Champions League, which could help United kickstart their season this weekend. The Foxes have struggled away from home in the league this season, losing both of their opening two fixtures on the road conceding six goals in the process. FIORENTINA vs Milan – Both Teams to Score @1.75

Vincenzo Montella is a scientist of football, and just like another scientist who flourished in Tuscany, Galileo, he had to recant his beliefs in order to survive, even if he knew they were right. So, Milan did just that in their last two matches against Sampdoria and Lazio but still came away with two precious wins thanks to counter-attacking football making use of Carlos Bacca’s best qualities.

In Florence, though, Montella will want to win with his style, which will also be true of his opposing number, Paulo Sousa. Hamburg vs Bayern – Bayern to win to nil @1.80

This fixture is all but done before a ball is kicked and all that is left is to find your value for money from a market that offers little. Hamburg have not found the net in their last two matches, whereas Bayern have only conceded one goal in seven matches in all competitions this season.
