Following a record-breaking weekend of Premier League action, we run through the highest UltimateFan Point Scorers from gameweek 23. Aston Villa and Newcastle lead the way with two representatives each, while stars from Luton, Manchester United, Burnley, Tottenham, Wolves and Manchester City also make the cut. 

 

10. Alex Moreno (Aston Villa) - 14 UltimateFan Points 

 

In at number 10 is Aston Villa’s alex Moreno, who spectacularly volleyed home the visitors’ fifth goal of the evening against Sheffield United on Saturday. Moreno, who has only started five league games this season having only recently returned from injury, also made two tackles, three interceptions and completed two successful dribbles to return a total of 14 UltimateFan points. 

 

9. Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) - 15 UltimateFan Points 

 

England international Kieran Trippier brought his tally of goal involvements for the season to 10 with a goal and an assist in Newcastle’s dramatic 4-4 draw with Luton on Saturday. The 33-year-old also made two key passes, three tackles and four ball recoveries to pick up 15 UltimateFan points.

8. Ross Barkley (Luton) - 16 UltimateFan Points 

 

After a strong display against Brighton in midweek, Ross Barkley went one further against Newcastle at the weekend; at St James’ Park, the former England man scored and assisted in a match for the first time since July 2020, while he also made four tackles, two interceptions, five clearances, four key passes and two successful dribbles to earn 16 UltimateFan points. 

 

7. Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United) - 17 UltimateFan Points  

 

19-year-old Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho found the net with both of his attempts on goal against West Ham on Sunday, netting twice for the second time in his last three home matches. The Argentine also made three key passes and completed one successful dribble to land a total of 17 UltimateFan points. 

 

6. David Datro Fofana (Burnley) - 18 UltimateFan Points 

 

On-loan Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana continued an impressive start to his loan spell at Burnley as he scored twice from the bench to cancel out Fulham’s two-goal lead and earn a draw for the hosts at Turf Moor. In his 27-minute cameo, the 21-year-old also made one key pass to record a total of 18 UltimateFan points. 

 

5. Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) - 18 UltimateFan Points 

 

Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins became the first player to reach double figures for both goals and assists in the Premier League this season, with his goal and two assists in the 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United. The 28-year-old’s electric showing saw him return a total of 18 UltimateFan points. 

 

4. Richarlison (Tottenham) - 19 UltimateFan Points 

 

Tottenham star Richarlison made it nine goals in his last eight matches with a brace against former side Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday. The Brazilian also contributed with two key passes on his way to a total of 19 UltimateFan points.

3. Sean Longstaff (Newcastle) - 20 UltimateFan Points 

 

26-year-old Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff netted his third and fourth goals of the season in the eight-goal thriller against Luton on Saturday, while he also made four tackles, to rack up a total of 20 UltimateFan points. 

 

2. Matheus Cunha (Wolves) - 26 UltimateFan Points 

 

Wolves’ hat-trick hero Matheus Cunha comes in at number two after his performance in the 4-2 win over Chelsea on Sunday. Cunha equalised for the visitors after 22 minutes, before adding his second and third of the afternoon in the second half to complete a resounding victory for Gary O’Neil’s side and earn a total of 26 UltimateFan points. 

 

1. Phil Foden (Manchester City) - 26 UltimateFan Points

 

England attacker Phil Foden netted the second hat-trick of the gameweek when his three goals saw Manchester City come from behind to claim all three points at Brentford on Monday evening. The 23-year-old also made three key passes and six ball recoveries, to pick up 26 UltimateFan points and take home the UltimateFan player of the week award due to him having a higher ownership than Cunha.
