After rattling through the five highest risers earlier in the week, here are our five buy tips this week.
Jerome Boateng – Bayern Munich
With Bayern Munich prepared to listen to offers for centre-back Jerome Boateng, there’s a chance to capitalise on his possible availability. The 29-year-old may have endured his injury issues in the past, but when fully fit, he is one of the best defenders on the continent.
He’s currently floating on the stock market with a buy price of £1.81 per share on Football INDEX, however that is set to rise as rumours of his future continue to circulate. A strong World Cup showing would see that increase in time and he may prove to be a handy addition to your portfolio.
Trezeguet – Kasimpasa
Another who’ll look to use the World Cup as a shop window is Kasimpasa attacker Mahmoud Hassan, better known as Trezeguet. Mohamed Salah is Egypt’s poster boy, but his 23-year-old compatriot is one to keep an eye on this summer. He was the highest rated player in the Super Lig last season, with a 7.53, and his excellent performances haven’t gone unnoticed.
His share price has risen 19.53% over the last week and is currently at £0.71 to buy on Football INDEX. With a rumoured €5m release clause and plenty of Premier League interest, that stands to rise over the coming weeks. Jump on that price now!
Alisson – Roma
As rumours of a move to Liverpool grow cold, Alisson is unlikely to hang around in Rome for long, despite the Reds’ dying interest in the goalkeeper. Real Madrid are in the market for a new goalkeeper and the Brazil number one has emerged as Los Blancos’ number one target.
His buy price on Football INDEX is currently £1.28 and while Alisson has supposedly agreed personal terms on a move to Spain, both teams are still yet to agree a fee for the shotstopper. With a saga that could rumble on throughout the summer, the 25-year-old may be worth a look in.
Bruno Fernandes – Sporting
One of Sporting’s top four best-rated players in Liga NOS last season, there is plenty of interest in midfielder Bruno Fernandes and for good reason. The 23-year-old scored 11 and registered eight assists for Sporting last term and there is a lengthy list of admirers in the running for the Portugal international.
He, along with three Sporting teammates, are currently in the process of rescinding their contracts with the Lisbon based giants. That would leave Fernandes free to negotiate a move to any team of his choosing and that should boost his current buy price of £2.05 per share on Football INDEX. A series of standout performances at the World Cup will push that higher, so add him to your portfolio as soon as possible.
Bas Dost – Sporting
Along with Fernandes, Bas Dost is another looking to move away from Sporting this summer and there should be no shortage of admirers in the Dutchman. He rattled in 27 goals and added three assists for Sporting last term and scored more headed goals (11) than any other Liga NOS player.
A Premier League move is on the cards and unsurprisingly so, with Dost boasting the necessary attacking attributes to succeed in England. His buy price is a lowly £0.99 per share on Football INDEX and that could prove to be a steal in pursuit of a profit.
