Silva the star in Premier League team of the week after firing Man City top

Manchester City capitalised on Chelsea's loss at West Ham to move to the top of the Premier League, and they have three players make the team of the week following their 3-1 win at Watford on Saturday evening. Tottenham, West Ham and Aston Villa all have players make the best XI from gameweek 15 as we, starting from the back, run through the side.

Daniel Bachmann (Watford) - 8.48

Yes, we are aware that Watford fell to a 3-1 loss to Premier League leaders Manchester City on Saturday evening, but the Hornets would have fallen to a heavier defeat were it not for Daniel Bachmann between the sticks. The Austrian shotstopper was on hand to make nine saves - no goalkeeper has made more in a Premier League match this season - at Vicarage Road to help earn a WhoScored rating of 8.48.

Matty Cash (Aston Villa) - 8.64

Aston Villa have two players make the Premier League team of the week after their 2-1 win over Leicester on Sunday evening with Matty Cash playing a starring role. Cash earned the WhoScored man of the match award at Villa Park with his hard work off the ball crucial. Indeed, the Pole made nine tackles - no player has made more in a Premier League match this season - and five interceptions to feature with a rating of 8.64.

Davinson Sanchez (Tottenham) - 8.17

The first of two Tottenham players to make the Premier League team of the week, Davinson Sanchez has enjoyed something of a renaissance under Antonio Conte as the Colombian makes the cut with a WhoScored rating of 8.17. Sanchez scored Spurs' second in their 3-0 win over Norwich, while four tackles, two clearances and one interception, along with three aerial duels won, capped a solid afternoon.

Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa) - 8.05

Joining Sanchez at the heart of the defence of Aston Villa goal machine Ezri Konsa. No player scored more goals than Konsa (2) in gameweek 15 as the centre-back put Leicester to the sword on home turf. The 24-year-old also made three clearances to help Villa to all three points and the Villans star to a spot in the team of the week with a WhoScored rating of 8.05.

Arthur Masuaku (West Ham) - 8.06

West Ham's match winner on Saturday rounds off the defence as Arthur Masuaku impressed off the bench in the Hammers' 3-2 win over Chelsea. Masuaku replaced Ben Johnson on the stroke of half time and it was his thundering effort three minutes from the end that earned West Ham all the spoils in the lunchtime London derby. In addition, the 28-year-old made five tackles to help land a WhoScored rating of 8.06.

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) - 8.27

The first of three Manchester City players in the side, Raheem Sterling has made a habit of finding the back of the net against Watford. Sterling netted against the Hornets for the sixth straight game on Saturday, and has now netted 11 times against Watford in his career. The City star's goal came from one of six shots and he was unfortunate not to add an assist having created three goalscoring chances to secure the spot on the right with a WhoScored rating of 8.27.

Silva the star in Premier League team of the week after firing Man City top

Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) - 9.34

With a WhoScored rating of 9.34, Bernardo Silva is the Premier League player of the week. Silva scored two of his seven league goals of the season at Watford on Saturday evening, netting with two of three shots. In addition, no player made more key passes than Silva (4) in gameweek 15, while additional returns of three tackles and two dribbles helped mark his best rated Premier League performance of the season.

Lucas Moura (Tottenham) - 8.68

The second Tottenham player in the side is Lucas Moura, who set Spurs on the path to victory on Sunday with a thundering effort with just 10 minutes on the clock. Moura's first league goal of the season came from one of two shots at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and he was a real problem for the Norwich backline as he completed three dribbles. With a WhoScored rating of 8.68, the Brazilian deserves his spot in the team of the week.

Phil Foden (Manchester City) - 8.03

The third and final Manchester City player to make the team of the week is youngster Phil Foden. The England international provided the assist for compatriot Sterling's opening goal, that coming from one of four key passes. Foden also made two tackles as he makes the grade on the left flank with a WhoScored rating of 8.03.

Tyler Roberts (Leeds) - 8.28

Tyler Roberts picked the perfect time to score his first league goal of the season as he fired Leeds ahead in their eventual 2-2 draw with Brentford. The Welshman found a way past Bees shotstopper Alvaro Fernandez with one of five shots in the stalemate at Elland Road and he was difficult to stop when he gained a head of steam, as Roberts completed three dribbles. Three interceptions and one tackle saw the 22-year-old return a WhoScored rating of 8.28.

Richarlison (Everton) - 8.14

If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Richarlison saw two goals chalked off for offside either side of half time in Everton's 2-1 win over Arsenal on Monday night, but the Brazilian was rewarded for his persistence 10 minutes from time as he bagged his third goal of the season. The Toffees forward also made four key passes and completed three dribbles in a man of the match showing that saw him garner a WhoScored rating of 8.14.
