France returnee Kante features among day three's top performers of Euro 2024

 

After day three of Euro 2024 action, we run through the top rated performers from Monday's games. France, Slovakia and Romania are all represented on the list. 

 

10. Marcus Thuram (France) - 7.36 

 

Marcus Thuram did all he could to help France in the final third against Austria on Monday night. The Inter man managed five shots, won five aerial duels and completed two dribbles on his way to a WhoScored rating of 7.36. 

 

9. Lukas Haraslin (Slovakia) - 7.44 

 

Lukas Haraslin was a thorn in the side of the Belgium defence as Slovakia claimed an impressive 1-0 win over the Red Devils. The 28-year-old fired off two shots and managed two key passes, while he also made two interceptions and won two aerial duels to return a WhoScored rating of 7.44. 

 

8. Martin Dubravka (Slovakia) - 7.48 

 

The star player from Slovakia's win over Belgium, Martin Dubravka made five saves in a solid rearguard display. While there was a hint of fortune about the victory, Dubravka did all he could for his side and was rewarded with a WhoScored rating of 7.48. 

 

 

7. Radu Dragusin (Romania) - 7.53 

 

Radu Dragusin put in an imperious performance at the back as Romania claimed a 3-0 win over Ukraine. No player has made more clearances in a Euro 2024 match than the 22-year-old (10) managed as he returned a WhoScored rating of 7.53. 

 

6. N'Golo Kante (France) - 7.53 

 

Despite a spell out of the spotlight, N'Golo Kante's returned to international duties with France with aplomb. The 33-year-old didn't look out of place back on the international stage as he made three tackles and two interceptions to claim a WhoScored rating of 7.53. 

 

5. Mike Maignan (France) - 7.59 

 

France's win over Austria wasn't a walk in the park and it took a standout display from Mike Maignan to claim victory on Monday night. The AC Milan shotstopper made three saves, won one aerial duel and one high ball claim in a fine showing. 

 

4. Nicolae Stanciu (Romania) - 7.87 

 

Romania dominate the top four spots from day three of Euro 2024 action and rightly so after their 3-0 win over Ukraine. Captain Nicolae Stanciu got the ball rolling as he fired in a superb first half effort, netting with one of three shots.

3. Razvan Marin (Romania) - 7.94 

 

The scorer of Romania's second goal at the Allianz Arena, Razvan Marin beat Andrii Lunin with his only shot in Munich. The 28-year-old also made three clearances, one tackle, one key pass and completed one dribble to land a WhoScored rating of 7.94. 

 

2. Dennis Man (Romania) - 8.08 

 

Dennis Man was directly involved in two of Romania's three goals against Ukraine, providing the assists for Nicolae Stanciu and Denis Dragus either side of half time. The brace of assists came from three key passes, while the 25-year-old also completed two dribbles in a solid showing. 

 

1. Denis Dragus (Romania) - 8.16 

 

Denis Dragus was named the WhoScored player of the match in Romania's 3-0 win over Ukraine having claimed a rating of 8.16. Dragus netted with his only shot and managed one key pass in the victory. The 24-year-old also completed four dribbles and made one clearance in their Group E opener.
