Chelsea hat-trick hero Madueke leads Premier League Team of the Week
It's a London-centric Premier League Team of the Week with Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Fulham and West Ham all represented in the best XI. Manchester City and Liverpool also have players make the cut from gameweek two.
Arsenal made it back-to-back 2-0 wins to kick off the Premier League season, with David Raya in inspired form at Villa Park on Saturday. The 28-year-old made three saves against Aston Villa, including a stunning second half stop to deny Ollie Watkins when the scores were level, to return a WhoScored rating of 7.71.
Pedro Porro (Tottenham) - 7.56
Crossing the North London divide, Pedro Porro was solid at right-back as Tottenham eased to a 4-0 win over Everton on Saturday. Porro made three tackles and one interception to help Spurs to a clean sheet and the Spaniard to a WhoScored rating of 7.56.
Cristian Romero (Tottenham) - 9.04
The star player from Tottenham's 4-0 win over Everton, Cristian Romero claimed a WhoScored rating of 9.04 against the Toffees. The Argentine defender scored Spurs' third against Sean Dyche's side, that coming from one of three efforts on goal, and was on hand to make six tackles, three interceptions and return a pass success rate of 92.8% in the home triumph.
After an opening weekend 2-1 home loss to Aston Villa, West Ham made amends as they claimed an impressive 2-0 win at Crystal Palace, with summer signing Max Kilman key. The winger shone on his first league start of the season, bagging a second-half hat-trick from six shots in Chelsea's 6-2 win at Wolves. One tackle and one key pass capped a memorable afternoon for the 22-year-old.
Cole Palmer was directly involved in four of Chelsea's six goals at Wolves on Sunday, providing a hat-trick of assists - all for Noni Madueke - from four key passes. Haaland got the better of Arijanet Muric with three of seven shots, while two dribbles and one aerial win saw the City goal machine return a WhoScored rating of 9.44.
Son Heung-Min (Tottenham) - 9.05
Partnering Haaland on the frontline is Tottenham skipper Son Heung-Min, who earned a WhoScored rating of 9.05 in Spurs' 4-0 win over Everton. Son netted either side of half time, scoring with two of three shots, and chipped in with one key pass and one successful dribble to round off the Team of the Week.
