Top match betting tips: Juventus and Liverpool to earn points on the road

As we prepare for another looming international break domestic action across Europe signs off in some style with eye-catching contests across the continent.

As such, we've picked out three tips from some of the most exciting spectacles from Sunday's action, and we even have an exclusive sign up offer courtesy of VBet to utilise on any one of our selections. Indeed, using our introductory offer, you will earn £20 in free bets when you place any £10 bet on a single outcome with odds of 1.80 or more - which each of our tips this week just happen to be in excess of...

Lazio vs Juventus - Away win

We start in Italy, where the first match of the day on Sunday is certainly one to look out for. Champions Juventus travel to the capital to face a Lazio side who, for much of last season, were their closest rivals in 2019/20. Simone Inzaghi's side ultimately fell away post-lockdown and have made an indifferent start to the new campaign that has recently been made more difficult due to a string of positive COVID-19 cases.

The home side will be without three pivotal players in particular, with the absences of keeper Thomas Strakosha, midfield general Lucas Leiva and captain and top scorer Ciro Immobile stripping Lazio of their spine. Juventus have some injuries of their own but with Cristiano Ronaldo back fit and Alvaro Morata firing, look well placed to ensure last season's result at the Stadio Olimpico was just a blip.

Top match betting tips: Juventus and Liverpool to earn points on the road

Prior to their 3-1 defeat in Rome last December, Juventus' had won six in a row on the road to Lazio, with the hosts victory last year ending a 16-year wait without a league win over Juventus. Normality should resume this time around and with odds over evens on an away victory, it's arguably your best bet with the above offer in mind this weekend.

Manchester City vs Liverpool - Liverpool win or Draw

The glamour tie in the Premier League this weekend is undeniable as last season's top two go head-to-head at the Etihad. Having lost their title by a distance to the Reds last time out, City have the chance to close the gap to the early pace setters once more to just two points, with an all important game in hand.

It's Pep Guardiola's side that approach the match as favourites given their home advantage, with Liverpool also perhaps understandably unfancied in the absence of Virgil van Dijk. Nevertheless, Joel Matip could be back in contention and the Reds have won all five of their matches since the Dutchman was ruled out, so that factor may have been given too much attention in the odds.

Indeed, Liverpool were rampant against a very strong attacking side in Atalanta in midweek, with Diogo Jota looking a revelation with six goals in his last four matches. When you consider Jurgen Klopp has masterminded nine wins over Gauardiola, the visitors look overpriced and double chance odds of 1.83 are very tempting.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Monchengladbach - Score Draw

While Der Klassiker will take centre stage in Germany this week, Leverkusen against Gladbach promises to be one hell of a support act, even if it does come after the main event. The two teams are in outstanding goalscoring form, with the hosts scoring 17 goals across the last four matches that they have completed with 11 men, while Gladbach hit Shakhtar for six in midweek having also scored twice against illustrious opposition in Inter and Real Madrid.

It's hard to separate the sides as a result, but one thing that should be certain is goals, with 39 scored across their last 12 meetings. The two teams have drawn seven matches across their league and European commitments this season (Leverkusen 3, Gladbach 4) and with both in strong form they may cancel each other out. The fact that a score draw wouldn't be seen as a bad result for either camp is also worth considering heading into the break, and carries odds of 3.83 for the those wanting a higher potential payout.

If you wanted to follow all three tips, the treble isn't an option for the sign up offer but does come in at a very tempting 14.30, or 133/10.
