Inter edge out Sevilla in Europa League final combined XI

Sevilla and Inter will face off in Friday's Europa League final for a place in next month's UEFA Super Cup against the winner of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in this weekend's Champions League final.

Inter have won all five of their Europa League matches since dropping down into the competition from the Champions League group stage and they marginally edge out Sevilla 6-5 in our combined XI.

Striker partners Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez are the stars of this Inter side and they unsurprisingly lead the line in our best rated XI.

Lukaku has scored in all five of Inter's appearances in the competition this season and is just two behind top scorer Bruno Fernandes heading into the final. Martinez, meanwhile, garnered the first perfect 10 rating of the knockout stage in their 5-0 semi-final triumph over Shakhtar.

Sevilla dominate in midfield, with Ever Banega, Suso and Lucas Ocampos surrounding Inter's Nicolo Barella. Semi-final hero Yassine Bono is in goal ahead of Inter's Samir Handanovic, with loan star Sergio Reguilon securing a left-back berth.

Diego Godin has endured a mixed first season at Inter but has finished the season strongly for Antonio Conte's side and is now expected to stay another year. He is joined in defence by Inter team-mates Stefan de Vrij and Danilo D'Ambrosio.
