Fanteam Fantasy Football: Wolves to eliminate Manchester United from FA Cup

After the busy festive period, the Premier League takes a brief break and teams turn their focus to the FA Cup third round. So do we. Here is our Fanteam Fantasy Football XI from the selected third round matches, with additional analysis on some of our picks.

Divock Origi (Liverpool) - 12.2M

Jurgen Klopp will be forced to rotate his Liverpool side as much as he can for this weekend's Merseyside derby with Everton but changes will be few and far between given their current injury list. Divock Origi, however, is expected to come into the side and the Belgium international has a thoroughly impressive record against the Toffees. Origi has five goals in six matches against Everton in all competitions, at least two more than against any other opponent in his career. Furthermore, all five of those goals against Everton have come at Anfield, where Saturday's game is being played.

Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester) - 9.6M

Jamie Vardy has missed Leicester's last two matches due to a groin strain and the birth of his child and Brendan Rodgers may just give his lead man another weekend off here. Kelechi Iheanacho has been a relative disappointment since signing for Leicester but has impressed since the start of the festive period. The 23-year-old has played a direct hand in five goals in as many appearances for Leicester this season and he only made his first outing of the campaign at the start of December. The Foxes host a Wigan side who are currently in the bottom three in the Championship.

Raul Jimenez (Wolves) - 9.6M

Wolves are unbeaten in their last four matches against Manchester United and should be confident of extending their terrific record against established top-six clubs on Saturday evening. Raul Jimenez has been a revalation for Wolves since joining the club in the summer of 2018 and seems to only be getting better. The Mexico international has eight goals and six assists to his name in the league this season and netted against United when they dumped the Red Devils out of the FA Cup last season.
