Top 10 Premier League Performers: 10-rated Son and Kane battle for top spot

Gameweek two of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign was a record breaker, with more goals scored (44) than ever before in a full 20 team round. The goals flew in across the country, with only three clean sheets and more than two goals scored in all but two games.

Before we dive into the top 10 performers from the weekend's action, we must first point you in the direction of Footstock - where fantasy football meets player trading. If you're not in the loop by now then you really should be. They are offering a massive £100k free-to-play tournament that can be entered any time.

Where the Footstock freeroll differs to a classic seasonal format for fantasy football is that only your top six gameweek scores are counted and combined to produce your overall total. For that reason, you could feasibly enter the game well into the New Year and still win.

Kane is the first player to play a direct hand in 5+ goals in a single Premier League match since March 2018 (Mo Salah vs Watford) and the only player to manage it twice since 2009/10.
