Ligue 1 Best XI: Lyon run riot and dominate the team

 

Here we reveal the best XI from gameweek 27 in Ligue 1 and run through the top five WhoScored rated players from the weekend’s action.

 

5.  Bertrand Traore (Lyon) – 8.73 rating

 

Bertrand Traore is one of three Lyon players in the top five WhoScored rated players after bagging himself a goal in their 5-1 destruction of Toulouse. As well as scoring his seventh league goal of the season, the 23-year-old completed five dribbles for the second league appearance in a row and won two aerial duels.

 

4. Moussa Dembele (Lyon) – 8.78 rating

 

Moussa Dembele helped himself to two goals in Lyon’s victory over Toulouse to take his tally for the season in Ligue 1 to nine. The 22-year-old scored his goals from five shots, while also registering three key passes and completing one dribble.

 

3. Flavien Tait (Angers) – 9.10 rating

 

Flavien Tait helped Angers secure a point at home to Monaco after scoring both of their goals in a 2-2 draw. The 26-year-old doubled his tally for the season in the process and has now played a direct hand in 10 goals in 25 league appearances. Against Monaco, he also completed four dribbles and made as many tackles and interceptions combined.

2. Youcef Atal (Nice) – 9.14 rating

 

Youcef Atal scored the match winner in Nice’s 1-0 win at home to Strasbourg at the weekend to take the WhoScored Man of the Match award in that game. Added to his third league goal of the season, the 22-year-old set a new personal record for dribbles completed in a Ligue 1 match (seven). He also completed seven tackles and interceptions combined.

 

1. Nabil Fekir (Lyon) – 9.23 rating

 

Nabil Fekir rounds off the top five as the highest WhoScored rated player in Ligue 1 this past weekend. The Frenchman has now won successive WhoScored Man of the Match awards, achieving it against Toulouse after playing a direct hand in three goals (one goal, two assists). Fekir registered three key passes in total and completed 90.7% of his passes. He was also fouled seven times and completed three dribbles.
