Rejuvenated Man Utd man into top 10 form rankings led by Chelsea youngster
Following the weekend's action there is a new leader for the third gameweek running in our Premier League player form rankings.
After Diogo Jota was displaced by compatriot Bernardo Silva last time out, the Portuguese pairing have now been leapfrogged by Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher.
The midfielder is an Eagle in full-flight at Crystal Palace at present and proved to be their match winner against Everton at the weekend, opening the scoring before rounding off a 3-1 victory with a spectacular strike. His all action displays have seen him place among the top 10 in our player form rankings for weeks now, but that brace on Sunday, combined with goals in wins over Manchester City and Wolves, sees him jump to the top of the pile.
Last week's leader Bernardo Silva is down to third, while long-time front runner Mo Salah is back up to fourth after slumping to his lowest standing of eighth this time last week.
Instead, Gallagher's closest challenger is new to the rankings, qualifying for the first time all season by virtue of finally starting six of Leicester's last eight league outings - a pre-requisite to making the grade - is James Maddison.
The Foxes star scored one, assisted another and won a penalty - somewhat contentiously - in a 4-0 rout over Newcastle to continue his fine rich of form. That's now three goals and three assists in his last four league outings for a player that struggled to find his feet early in the campaign.
Maddison takes the place of Trent Alexander-Arnold in second after the Liverpool star had held that spot for a number of weeks, dropping to fifth this time around.
Meanwhile there are two new names in the top 10 for the first time all season, with Burnley's James Tarkowski up to ninth having helped keep West Ham at bay at the weekend, while Fred is flying the flag for this new look Manchester United side in sixth.
The biggest beneficiary to the change in approach under Ralf Rangnick thus far, the Brazilian followed his match winning goal against Crystal Palace with another excellent display at Norwich. He broke up play superbly, winning seven tackles at a 100 per cent success rate whilst also completing two dribbles and 91 per cent of his pass attempts.
The remainder of the top 10 heading into the midweek round of fixtures sees Lucas Moura stay in tenth following the postponement of Tottenham's clash with Brighton, while Man City pair Rodri and Joao Cancelo complete the leaderboard in seventh and eighth respectively.
