WhoScored Tipster: The Top Tips Across Europe's Top 5 Leagues This Week

It's all about Germany. True, there is North London Derby involving the title for the first time since 1953, but everybody wants to know if Borussia Dortmund can scare Guardiola and the Bavarians for the first time in the Bundesliga since Pep took charge

BORUSSIA DORTMUND vs BAYERN MUNICH - Draw @3.40

Thomas Tuchel is up against all the odds. Against the Bayern army, the best manager, at the first year with his new team, but entering Der Klassiker on home turf in the best possible way, with the possibility of cutting the points margin at the summit to two. Dortmund are impressive at the Westfalenstadion, with a run of 15 wins and one draw in their last 16 home games. But, the last time they lost at home, it was to Bayern.

Dortmund won't betray their philosophy, but their pressing won’t be as high as usual. While it's true that Bayern were shocked at home by Tuchel’s former club Mainz in midweek, Guardiola's team always raises their game when it’s required of them and they know that not losing is not only crucial for the league, but to take the pressure off ahead of their Champions League second leg meeting with Juventus. The best money is on a draw at 3.40 for Bet365.

TOTTENHAM vs ARSENAL - Draw First Half @2.25

The most important North London Derby since 1953. Both teams come into this fixture with their pride dented, though the Gunners much more so following a 2-1 home defeat to Swansea. It’s for this reason why Arsene Wenger’s side must put out much-improved performance to counter the solidity of Spurs. Petr Cech joins the list of suspect injuries under Wenger, though the list is lengthy for the Gunners.

Mauricio Pochettino, meanwhile, still has to deal with the absence of Jan Vertonghen, but further forward, Harry Kane often gives Per Mertesacker a torrid time. Tottenham have been drawing at half time in each of their last four home league games, while the WhoScored match forecast suggests that both teams ‘will create many scoring chances’.

ROMA vs FIORENTINA - Over 2.5 Goals @1.90

In what is currently a direct clash for third place, considering how tight the race is, it could be decisive for Roma to keep their head-to-head advantage over the Viola. Fiorentina have always been proactive, but not always equally efficient, while Spalletti has restored a confidence at Roma that has allowed a somewhat cheeky attitude. Roma have had an over 2.5 goals result in their last four league games; Fiorentina in their last two; and in the WhoScored match forecast there are only two ‘very likely'  scenarios: Roma to score as a result of an opposition error and Fiorentina to net from a through ball situation.

EIBAR vs BARCELONA - Both Teams To Score - Yes @1.80

Barça just secured a 35th consecutive result without losing in all competitions, beating Real Madrid's record from the 1988/89 season. They certainly aren't selfish though, and always concede at least one chance to score to their opponents, both teams finding the net in 4 of their last 5 away games, while Eibar have scored in 6 of their last 7 at home. There are plenty of scoring situations for the visitors in the WhoScored match forecast, but it is also ‘very likely' that Eibar will create many scoring chances.

CAEN vs MONACO - Both Teams To Score - No @1.75

Ligue 1 has the lowest goal average among the top 5 leagues so it is pretty rare to find such high odds on a game in which only one or neither of the teams will score. That’s especially true when considering that it has happened in four of Caen's last five home games as well as four of Monaco's last five away.
