We have decided to take the lead on this, and here we run through the top-five WhoScored rated players in League One after six matches.
5) Scott Fraser (Burton) - 7.53 rating

Position - AM(C)
Burton have made a steady start to their second season in League One, with 10 points from their first six matches. The Brewers are currently one point outside the play-offs and Scott Fraser has emerged as a key man for Nigel Clough’s side during these early rounds. In just his second season at the club, the 24-year-old has played a direct hand in six goals in as many appearances for Burton (three goals, three assists). Fraser has already turned in a perfect WhoScored 10 display, after playing a direct hand in all four goals in Burton’s 4-2 win away to Oxford (three goals, one assist).
4) Ivan Toney (Peterborough) - 7.60 rating

Former Newcastle youngster Ivan Toney appears to have finally settled at Peterborough following six loan spells in three years during his time at St.James’ Park. Now 23, Toney will hope to fire Peterborough back into the Championship. The Posh are one point off the top-six as things stand and have won their last three matches. Toney has scored four goals in six league appearances this season and went on a run of scoring in three straight matches during the middle of August. Toney is one of only five players to have won the WhoScored Man of the Match award multiple times in League One this season.
3) Marcus Maddison (Peterborough) - 7.67 rating

Position - AM(C), MR
Marcus Maddison is the second former Newcastle youngster to feature in the top five, though unlike Toney, Maddison started his career at St.James’ Park. The 25-year-old has spent the last five years at Peterborough and has made a stunning start to the season, with three goals and five assists in six appearances, In fact, Maddison has played a direct hand in more goals than any other player in League One this season. The Peterborough No.11 averages 2.3 shots and 2.3 key passes per game and has six statistically calculated strengths of ‘very strong'. He only averages 18.3 passes per game, but he doesn’t need many touches to have a decisive impact for the Posh.
2. Callum Camps (Rochdale) - 7.69 rating

Position - AM(C)
Rochdale have only suffered one defeat in their first six league matches but are struggling to turn one point into three, with only two wins in that time. Callum Camps is doing his all to help Rochdale over the line but will need help from his team-mates if the Dale have aspirations of promotion this season. The 23-year-old has two goals and three assists in six league appearances for Rochdale this season and has also been key for Brian Barry-Murphy’s side are out of possession. The attacking midfielder averages 2 tackles per game, to go with statistics of 2.5 shots and 1.8 key passes per game.
1. James Norwood (Ipswich) - 7.79 rating
Age - 28
Position - FW
Ipswich are well on course to win promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking after opening up a two point lead at the top of League One. The Tractor Boys have won four of their opening six matches and are one of five teams in League One yet to taste defeat this season. James Norwood is the league’s top scorer (five goals) and is doing a fine job spearheading Ipswich’s attack. The 28-year-old averages the most shots per game (4.5) in the division, while only Wycombe’s Adebayo Akinfenwa (10.8) averages more aerial duels won per game than Norwood (8.7).
