El Clasico, Rome Derby & Liverpool-Spurs Among Our Top Tips
As the international break ends, we are thrust straight back into league action and there would normally be no better way to resume proceedings with the Clasico in La Liga. Barcelona versus Real Madrid is always the main event, but their probably hasn't been so little importance on one like there is this weekend in many, many years.
Barcelona vs Real Madrid - Barcelona to win (-1) @2.25
Barcelona are 10 points ahead of Real Madrid are currently 39 matches unbeaten. The title race is over as far as Madrid are concerned and all they have left to fight for is honour, as their focus switches to the Champions League. While the team has nothing left to fight for in the league, this is still a huge test for Zinedine Zidane who will want to prove he has the credentials to manage a team as big as Madrid. Barcelona have a more demanding Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid around the corner but victory here would all but seal their sixth league title in eight years. The Camp Nou will shout Cruyff's name and the odds are shouting a Barcelona victory. To get good value from this match, a Barcelona win by a winning margin of at least two goals is where the money is in the Clasico.

Lazio vs Roma - Roma to win @2.20
There will be a weird atmosphere at the Olimpico this weekend. The final Rome derby of the season, and possibly for Francesco Totti, will be staged in front of so few people due to the strike being staged from both sets of fans. For Roma, they won't need any inspiration from the stands to get themselves up for this match. They have won eight of their last nine league games and confidence is high under Luciano Spalletti, something which can not be said for their city rivals. For Lazio, this is the last game that means anything in their season, but the pressure of this in itself could possibly create an even worse environment for Stefano Pioli's men. Added to the fact Spalletti has his full squad available and Pioli is missing four regular starters, the odds are stacked further against the home side. There are only two scenarios predicted in the WhoScored Match Forecast, and both imply Roma will score.
Liverpool vs Tottenham - Draw First Half @2.25
Motivation and focus could decide the outcome of this match. Jurgen Klopp will undoubtedly have one eye on his reunion with Borussia Dortmund on Thursday, whereas Tottenham are now fully focused on league glory. This doesn't mean Liverpool will bend over for Spurs, but they may be more conservative than usual under Klopp. Liverpool have been drawing at half-time in eight of their nine home league games since Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers in October, which suggests the same could be true on Saturday.
Gladbach vs Hertha Berlin - Both Teams To Score @1.80
The outcome of this clash will have huge implications on who qualifies for the Champions League next season and goals can be expected. Only Bayern Munich (65) and Dortmund (64) have scored more goals in the Bundesliga than Gladbach (54) this season, but they've also conceded the fourth-most amount of goals (44) thus far, which should give plenty of encouragement to the away side.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Nice - Draw @3.75
This fixture would normally be straightforward for Paris Saint-Germain. However, with the league title already secured and Manchester City to come in the Champions League, Laurent Blanc is expected to rest his usual stars against Nice at the weekend. Motivation appears to have dropped since being crowned Ligue 1 champions for the fourth year in a row. In fact, their only two league defeats on the campaign have come in their last four matches.
