Europa League Quiz: Name Golden Boot winners to play in Premier League since 2000

The Europa League 2019/20 campaign comes to a close on Friday night, with Sevilla and Inter battling out for glory.

It's a familiar feeling for Sevilla, who have reached the final five times in the last 14 years and won the trophy on all five occasions - more so than any other club on the continent. Inter, meanwhile, are not only making their first final appearance in the competition in 22 years but the first of any Italian club since the turn of the millennium, after Serie A representatives had dominated the finals in the 11 years prior to 2000.

While the outright winner is of course unknown, there is less mystery as to which player will be awarded the Europa League Golden Boot. Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes scored five goals in the group stages for Sporting CP before adding a further three for the Red Devils. Former United striker Romelu Lukaku will still fancy his chances or either catching up to the Portuguese's tally of eight with a brace or surpassing it with a hat-trick against Sevilla on Friday, but for now the gong is Fernandes' to lose.

Should he win the top scorer award it would be the second year running that it went to a Premier League player, while since 2000 there have been ten winners that either played for clubs in England's top-flight or went on to do so.

The question is, can you name them? To help out, we've given you the year that each player won the award and the club that they were playing for at the time. Easy, right? Well, it isn't. And you have just two minutes... Good luck!
