Man Utd move into pole position to sign new right-back
Manchester United are now in pole position to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich after West Ham's move for the Moroccan collapsed, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Both sides have been linked with a move for Mazraoui as they look to add a new right-back this summer.
Reports on Thursday suggested that West Ham had agreed a deal to sign the former Ajax man for €15.5m plus a further €4m in add-ons.
However, the deal looks to have collapsed with West Ham unable to reach an agreement with the 26-year-old's agent.
That leaves United as the frontrunners to sign Mazraoui as they look to bring in a new right-back in the off-season.
Erik ten Hag is looking to add another right-back as rumours surrounding Aaron Wan-Bissaka's further at the club continue to circulate.
Wan-Bissaka has also been linked with a move to West Ham, and the Hammers may yet move for the former Crystal Palace man should United sign Mazraoui.
