Which Napoli star was this weekend’s best performer in Serie A?
Gonzalo Higuain may have taken his personal tally against Lazio to 10 goals in five games, but it was actually his teammate, Lorenzo Insigne, that came away with the best performance of the weekend. The 24-year-old earned a WhoScored rating of 9.73, which was just about enough to edge past Higuain (9.72).
Maurizio Sarri’s men have now scored 10 goals in their last two matches in all competitions after firing five past a poor Lazio outfit at home on Sunday. Amid the frantic scenes at the San Paolo emerged Insigne, who directly contributed towards two of their goals (one goal + one assist).
The Italian wide man not only produced the most shots of all players (6), but he also completed at least two more dribbles than anyone else on either side (5). Insigne also topped the billing for most key passes (4) and only four other players can better his overall WhoScored rating in Serie A so far this season (8.0).
