Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is interested in returning to the Premier League and has an eye on Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace job, claims The Daily Mirror.
Mancini, 52, has been out of work since being sacked as Inter manager at the start of August but is eyeing a return to management, with the Premier League interesting the former winner once more.
Palace could soon be on the look out for a new manager if Pardew’s side lose to Southampton this weekend, although Mancini faces a competition for the job from former England manager Sam Allardyce.
Mancini hasn’t managed in England since being sacked by City in May 2013 after leading the Blues to a Premier League title and FA Cup during his four-year stint as manager. In that time he finished with a win success rate of 59.2%.
