Four Liverpool players make Premier League Team of the Week

Here we run through our Premier League Team of the Week following the conclusion of gameweek 22 in the Premier League.

Goalkeeper: Jose Sa (Wolves) - 8.58 rating

Wolves beat Southampton 3-1 on Saturday, scoring more goals than their previous nine matches combined (2), but they required Jose Sa to be at his best to ensure all three points. Sa could ultimately do nothing to prevent James Ward-Prowse's unstoppable free-kick late on but the Portuguese shot-stopper did make nine saves. In fact, only on two occasions in a Premier League game this season has a goalkeeper made more saves than Sa's tally against Southampton.

Right-back: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) - 7.83 rating

Trent Alexander-Arnold became the first player to reach 10 assists in the Premier League this season after setting up Fabinho for Liverpool's opener in a 3-0 win over Brentford on Sunday. The 23-year-old registered three key passes in total and also had the second most shots of Liverpool players with four.

Centre-back: Joel Matip (Liverpool) - 7.93 rating

Joel Matip is regarded as one of the most underrated defenders in the Premier League and on Sunday he made his presence felt in both boxes in Liverpool's victory over Brentford. The 30-year-old made four tackles and interceptions combined, had three shots and won six aerial duels. It is vitally important you win your aerial duels against a team like Brentford and Matip did that with an 86% success rate.

Centre-back: Max Kilman (Wolves) - 8.14 rating

Max Kilman has quietly gone about his work this season and calls for an England call-up are slowly getting louder. The 24-year-old turned in yet another eye-catching performance at the weekend and was denied his second goal of the season by the post, though his centre-back partner Conor Coady did nod in the rebound. Kilman made six tackles and interceptions combined, eight clearances and won seven aerial duels in total.

Left-back: Andy Robertson (Liverpool) - 8.25 rating

Andy Robertson registered his sixth assist of the Premier League season, whipping in a fine ball for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to score from a diving header in Liverpool's win over Brentford. The 27-year-old registered three key passes in total and completed two dribbles, as many as in his previous nine matches combined.

Right wing: Raphinha (Leeds) - 8.07 rating

Raphinha was in the thick of all things positive for Leeds, as Marcelo Bielsa's side stunned West Ham 3-2 at the London Stadium on Sunday. Raphinha's perfectly weighted pass led to Jack Harrison scoring the winner but the Brazilian was actually involved in all three goals even if he was given one assist. His cut-back led to their opener and it was from his corner that Leeds scored their second. He was denied a stunning free-kick by the frame of the goal and had another assist chalked off for offside. He registered seven key passes in total.

Four Liverpool players make Premier League Team of the Week

Central midfield: Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) - 8.46 rating

Skipper on the day with Fernandinho and Ruben Dias both on the bench, Kevin De Bruyne delivered a real captain's performance with the winning goal in Manchester City's 1-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday. De Bruyne scored the winning goal, a perfectly placed right-foot attempt from outside the box, to push City even closer to the league title. De Bruyne hit the target with three of his four attempts, while also weighing in with two tackles.

Central midfield: Fabinho (Liverpool) - 8.61 rating

Fabinho has been free-scoring of late, nodding in against Brentford for his third goal in as many games in all competitions. Trent Alexander-Arnold's corner somehow made its way right the way through the Brentford box to find Fabinho at the back post for a simple header. The 27-year-old was the WhoScored Man of the Match for Liverpool after registering four key passes and winning seven aerial duels.

Left wing: Jack Harrison (Leeds) - 9.33 rating

Hat-trick hero Jack Harrison is our Premier League player of the week from Leeds' 3-2 win over West Ham. Harrison only scored his first league goal of the season earlier this month and followed that up with a treble in his next outing in the Premier League. Harrison scored his three goals from four attempts and also registered two key passes.

Striker: Richarlison (Everton) - 7.66 rating

Everton's 2-1 defeat to Norwich on Saturday was the straw that broke the camel's back, as Rafa Benitez was finally put out of his misery with the sack. Richarlison did at least give Everton some hope of a comeback, scoring a stunning overhead kick six minutes after coming off the bench following a month-long injury lay-off. Richarlison actually managed more shots than any Everton player (3) despite coming on in the second half, while also ranking second for dribbles completed (2).

Striker: Adam Idah (Norwich) - 7.82 rating

Sticking with the same match, Norwich's Adam Idah actually finished the game as the WhoScored Man of the Match. Idah has impressed in a new role up alongside Teemu Pukki in recent weeks and scored what proved to be a vital winner for Norwich's bid to beat the drop. The 20-year-old poked home after a brilliant run and pass from Brandon Williams in the first half, which was one of four attempts from the Irishman. Idah also completed three dribbles and was fouled five times.
